Hi, I’m Ceci Tucker, the heart and hands behind Wilde Folk.

I’ve always been drawn to beauty—the kind you can see, feel, and experience. Whether it’s the way a fragrance can transport you to another world or how a well-designed space can bring comfort and connection, my passion lies in creating things that make everyday life feel a little more magical.

The Origins of Wilde Folk

My journey into perfumery began in 2018, when I started working with essential oils out of a personal need. After struggling with migraines, hormonal imbalances, and sensitivities to synthetic fragrances, I knew there had to be a better way. That search led me down a path of herbalism, folklore, and wildcrafting—the practice of sustainably harvesting plants for their natural benefits.

That’s where the name Wilde Folk comes from: wild for my love of wildcrafting, and folk for my deep appreciation of folklore and storytelling. Every scent I create is rooted in nature, handcrafted with organic ingredients, and designed to evoke emotion—whether it’s grounding, uplifting, or purely transportive.

A Life-Long Love for Interior Design

While perfumery became my creative outlet for many years, my love for interior design never faded. As a child, I was obsessed with the show Trading Spaces, even convincing my mom to buy me a design smock so I could pretend to be one of the designers.

I’ve always been drawn to the way spaces can transform—not just in how they look, but in how they feel and how they bring people together. That love for storytelling and transformation isn’t just limited to scent; I believe that the things we surround ourselves with—whether a fragrance, a meaningful object, or a well-designed space—can shape our daily lives in the most beautiful ways.

Beyond the Studio

When I’m not blending perfumes or dreaming up new creations, you’ll likely find me with a book in hand—usually a fantasy novel that sweeps me into another world. I have an undeniable sweet tooth (chocolate is a non-negotiable), and I love exploring new places, often traveling in my camper van alongside my husband, Maxwell, and our chocolate lab, Juniper.
