This was my first time creating dried citrus and I couldn't be happier with the results. Of course there were some trial and error issues and some love/hate moments with the process, but the overall outcome was worth all the struggles.
I originally dried orange slices to create a garland, however I have found a variety of ways to use these cuties. Plus another fun tip - try this out with any citrus fruit! You can slice up grapefruits, lemons, limes, and blood oranges. The grapefruits will likely take somewhere closer to 4 hours to bake, but if you're like me and staying safe and home this holiday season, you have all the time in the world to try it out.
First, if you are a visual person like me, take a peek at the Instagram Reel I created last week that shows this process step by step. Again, just like my first DIY, this one is super simple. You just have to have plenty of time and patience.

+ Toss in a glass jar, and use as Holiday decor around your house
+ Create a Orange Garland to display above your fireplace or doorframe
+ If you're making your own wreath this year, this is a perfect pop of color to add
